Brick Calculator

Have a construction project and need to figure out how many bricks you'll need? Well, you're in the right place. With this trusty brick calculator, you'll be up to speed like pro in no time.

Step 1: Select Your Brick Type: Ready to build that wall, chimney, or secret bookshelf door? (Hey, we won't judge.) First off, you'll need to select your brick type from the dropdown list.

Our calculator takes into account all the nitty-gritty specs of each brick variety (including dimensions in inches and millimeters, coverage area, weight, and estimated bricks per pallet).

Step 2: Measure Your Wall Size: Now, grab that tape measure and start sizing up your wall. In the "Wall Size" section, enter the length and height of your wall in feet. and input those into their respective fields.

Step 3: Input Cost Details: Now that we have the measurements nailed down, it's time to talk about the costs. If you know it, enter the cost of each brick, a bag of mortar, and a cubic yard of sand in their respective fields. If you don't, you can skip this part.

Step 4: Hit That Calculate Button: Almost done. Once you've filled out all the necessary details, it's time to let our calculator work its magic. Hit the 'Calculate' button and voilà! You'll get the number of bricks you'll need, the amount of mortar and sand required, and the total cost estimate for your project.

Keep in mind that the values we use in calculations are a a good estimate but are subject to the exact brick size from a specific brick from a builder's merchant vendor and pricing in your specific area. For irregularly shaped areas you may have to get into your geometry text book from middle school (triangles, a2 + b2 = c2 and all kinds of fun stuff like that). Also - for exact costs, etc. make sure you talk to a local vendor.
